STATE OF THE ART STUDIO UPGRADES

Change is in the air—and on our walls. We're thrilled to unveil the latest evolution of our studio space: the installation of cutting-edge video boards that are transforming how we tell stories, share content, and connect with our audience.

This upgrade isn't just about aesthetics; it's a bold step into the future of media production. With high-resolution displays and dynamic capabilities, our new video boards bring a level of versatility and visual impact that elevates every frame we film.

Here's a behind-the-scenes look:

Nav Sawhney, the brilliant mind behind The Washing Machine Project, joined us to discuss his collaboration with Whirlpool and how a simple invention is changing lives around the world—especially for women in underserved communities. His episode spotlighted the intersection of innovation and empathy, enhanced by visuals of the washing machine units in action.

Illinois Lieutenant Governor Julianna Stratton came to our studio during a pivotal time in her political journey. With courage and clarity, she opened up about her next chapter in public service, and the boards helped set the tone with iconic imagery and campaign moments that emphasized her commitment to community.

I spoke with author and human rights attorney Shermin Kruse, who introduced us to her latest book. Known for weaving activism into storytelling, Shermin shared how her writing explores identity, justice, and personal transformation. The boards reflected the soul of her work with thoughtful design and imagery from her publishing journey.

Celebrity chef Joe Sasto joined us to share the story behind his latest cookbook and gave us a literal taste of his passion for food. Known for his handmade pasta and appearances on Top Chef, Joe brought in fresh focaccia and cookies that had the whole studio buzzing. As he spoke about honoring tradition while adding his own creative twist, his warmth and love for cooking came through in every bite—and every word.

Jared Kircheimer, the creative force behind the powerful film Say Her, opened up about the emotional and cultural resonance of telling women’s stories with authenticity and urgency. His segment stood out for its bold visuals and raw honesty—made even more powerful through cinematic stills shown on screen.

Philanthropist Hilary Jellison Simonds shared her commitment to pediatric healthcare as a donor supporting Kristen Dahlgren’s foundation. Her generosity—and the lives it touches—was beautifully underscored with visuals of the children and families her support has impacted.

From community advocates to national icons, each guest brought something deeply personal to the table, and the studio’s new capabilities helped us honor their stories with the color, motion, and nuance they deserve.

We can’t wait for you to see it all in action. Stay tuned for new episodes, behind-the-scenes moments, and exclusive guest spotlights—all illuminated by our bold, bright new look.
