Fall Feels + Mid Season Magic
There’s something about fall that always feels like a deep breath in and a full exhale out. Maybe it’s the crisp air, the color shifts, or the way the city suddenly smells like bonfires and coffee. For us, it’s an especially exciting time because it marks the launch of our new season of the Whitney Reynolds Show. Every October, as the leaves change, so do our stories — reminding me that transformation isn’t just natural, it’s necessary.
This season has also been full in the best kind of way. Between filming, the kids’ sports, and family life, the pace has been nonstop — but it’s the kind of busy that feels meaningful. We’ve learned to find our moments of calm within the motion. Last week, we had the best time trick-or-treating around our Chicago neighborhood — we went full Schitt’s Creek this year, and the wigs were an absolute hit!
Amidst all the excitement, David and I also celebrated our 12-year anniversary last weekend. We took time to reflect on everything we’ve walked through together — the adventures, the growth, the laughter, and even the moments that stretched us. It was a reminder that love, like the seasons, evolves beautifully when you let it.
We’re now officially midseason with the show, and I couldn’t be prouder of the meaningful stories we’ve shared so far — and the ones still to come. I’m also gearing up for some wonderful community events, including emceeing the March of Dimes next weekend. It’s always a joy to step out from behind the mic and connect face-to-face with people doing incredible work.
Fall reminds me that change can be beautiful. The leaves may fall, but it’s only making room for what’s next. Whether you’re navigating busy schedules, celebrating milestones, or simply soaking in sweater weather — here’s your gentle reminder to pause, breathe, and let this season inspire you too.
Because just like the trees, we’re meant to grow through every season — not rush through them.
