The Power of WE

There’s something steadying about being in a room where people aren’t just talking about change, they’re showing up for it.

That’s what I’m looking forward to with The Working Lunch 2026 hosted by Women Employed.

This year’s theme, The Power of WE, feels especially timely. It’s a reminder that progress doesn’t happen in isolation. It happens when people come together, stay engaged, and continue to move forward even when things feel uncertain.

I’m really grateful to be part of this conversation as a special guest.

The work of The Whitney Reynolds Show has always been rooted in creating space. Space for real stories, for honest moments, and for people to feel seen in where they’ve been and where they’re going. And what I’ve learned over the years is that when people feel seen, they start to step into their voice a little more fully.

That’s where change begins.

What I appreciate about this event is that it doesn’t just highlight the challenges. It focuses on what can be built when people stay committed to the work. It brings together leaders, advocates, and community members who are actively working to support women in the workplace and strengthen economic opportunity in a way that’s lasting.

There’s also something meaningful about taking a moment to recognize the people who are already doing that work every day. Those who are helping others understand their rights, navigate systems, and move forward with more clarity and confidence.

And yes, there will be moments of celebration woven in too. Opportunities to connect, to pause, and to enjoy the experience together. From thoughtful giveaways to shared conversations, it’s a reminder that purpose-driven spaces can also hold a sense of ease.

But what stays with me most is the intention behind it all.

The idea that when we show up for each other, for the work, and for what’s possible. We create momentum that goes far beyond one afternoon.

That’s something I’m always grateful to be part of and I’m looking forward to being in that room.
