A Moment of Recognition
Being recognized by Baylor University in their Baylor Proud feature, “Meet 15 Baylor women who have made names for themselves in the arts,” is more than a milestone, it’s a full-circle moment.
Whitney Reynolds (BA ’07) was included among a group of women who have gone on to make meaningful impacts in creative industries, a reflection of both her journey and her mission-driven work. The Whitney Reynolds Show, which began in Chicago and has since expanded to over 200 stations nationwide, continues to center stories that uplift, challenge, and remind audiences that hope is always within reach.
For Whitney, Baylor was never just a place it was a foundation. A place where big dreams were nurtured and where the belief that stories matter truly took root. To now be recognized by that same community is both humbling and meaningful.
This moment isn’t just about being named on a list, it’s about what that list represents: women using their voices, their creativity, and their platforms to make an impact. And for Whitney, that mission hasn’t changed. If anything, this recognition is a reminder to keep going, keep sharing, and keep creating space for stories that matter.
Because at the heart of it all, the goal remains the same: to be a voice of hope—and to remind others that their story matters, too.
