Creating Space for What Matters
There are seasons in life when we move quickly. We check boxes, show up, get through and then there are moments that gently ask us to pause.
I want to share a community I’ve connected with, Together at Peace, a space rooted in something we don’t always give ourselves enough of: time to notice, reflect, and feel connected to the love that continues, even after loss.
What stood out most to me is their idea of Memory Moments. Not grand gestures or overwhelming processes, but small, intentional pauses that remind us we are not alone. That healing doesn’t have to be rushed. That connection can still exist in quiet, meaningful ways.
On April 7th from 7–8pm, they are hosting a virtual gathering called “A Cup of Comfort.” It’s a simple hour to slow down, reflect, and connect with others who understand that healing looks different for everyone. These gatherings are led personally and create a space where conversation feels natural, not forced, and where presence matters more than perfection.
What I love about this is the simplicity. In a world that often pushes us to move forward quickly, this is an invitation to sit for a moment. To acknowledge what we carry. To find comfort in the community.
Sometimes, hope doesn’t come from big, life-changing events. Sometimes it’s found in an hour set aside, a shared story, or a quiet reminder that love is still present.
