How Often Do You Get To Say Yes to a First

One of the beautiful parts of being between seasons is remembering to enjoy the one you're in.

This week, our team is officially back together, scheduling interviews for our new season of The Whitney Reynolds Show, premiering October 19. Later this week, I'll be heading to our presenting PBS station to tape pledge breaks and promos, and I can't wait to share what's ahead.

But before summer slips away, I wanted to make room for a first.

They say there are only so many "firsts" in life, and they're worth saying yes to.

Last week, our twins turned 10. Later this fall, Acher and David are heading out on a special father-son trip. And last night, I had the privilege of taking Marlowe to her very first Lollapalooza.

The music was great, but watching her experience something new was even better.

Here's your reminder to keep making room for firsts. They don't stop when we grow up—we just have to choose them.

Take a look at one of ours.
